Dr. J K Sharma, a former Professor of Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, Delhi; Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad; and Amity Business School, Amity University, Noida; has over 40 years of experience. He started his career in teaching and research at Kurukshetra University.
Dr Sharma's areas of interest both for teaching and research include Operations Research, Business Statistics/Mathematics, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Business Analytics, and Total Quality Management.
He is the author of more than 20 books, which have been widely appreciated by the faculty and scholars of management studies all over the country. He also has to his credit over 150 research papers/ case studies published in both national and international journals of repute and has supervised 26 PhD scholars. s
Dr Sharma is a Visiting Professor at Group ESSEC (a Graduate School of Management) in France; Amity University, Dubai; and Amity Institute of Higher Education, Mauritius. He has also served as Founder Director of G L Bajaj Institute of Management and Research, Greater Noida; Maharishi Institute of Management, Noida; and Institute of Management Studies, Noida. He was elected as National President of the Operations Research Society of India for a period of two years from 2021-23.
