Dr V N Vedamurthy recently retired as Principal of Vellore Engineering College, Vellore. An educationist all his life, he has had a long academic career of 28 years at the Anna University, Guindy. He taught subjects such as Industrial Management, Heat Transfer, Computational Methods, Cryogenic Engineering apart from guiding research projects on Fluidized Beds, Solar Energy and so on. Dr. Vedamurthy has worked on a number of consultancy projects in the areas of Boiler Technology and Energy management.
