"Dr Girish P Jakhotiya has been a Professor of Finance and Strategy at the well-known Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (University of Mumbai) from 1985 to 1999. He has authored six books and monographs. He got ‘The All India Best Young Professor of Management Award’ from AIMS and the ‘Best Management Teacher Award’ from BMA. He has produced 5 PhDs under his guidance. He has executed various consulting assignments for some of the well-known Indian and multinational corporations and business groups like the Tata Group, British Petroleum, Siemens, Mahindra & Mahindra, Sesa Goa, Philips, Forbes & Co., Central Bank of Oman, Hindustan Unilever, Dempo Group, Indian Oil, MTNL, RPG Group, L&T Group, Adani Group, etc. Dr Jakhotiya has been professionally associated with CIMA, ICWAI, ICAI, Bombay Chartered Accountants Society and CII. His AGNI (Aggregate Growth through Networking and Innovation) is a path-breaking model that combines strategic planning, management control and financial measurement.
