He has been a Chartered Accountant having total post qualification experience of 29 years in finance, accounts, treasury, systems, and corporate taxation. He also has senior management experience of 11 years as a Chief Financial Officer.
During his career, he has received several awards from various associations like CFO India (awarded for 4 consecutive years 2010 to 2013 in various categories) as well as Indira Super Achiever Award-Finance in 2013. He was a member of the Finance Committee of the Indian National Ship Owners Association. He has addressed various forums like ICAI conference, CFO forums, Bank of New York & Mellon Indian Subcontinent Annual Conference, and Free Press Journal-Union Budget Analysis.
He has represented various national business media organizations like CNBC, NDTV Profit, Times Now, and Zee Business on several occasions. He is presently working as Chief Financial Officer at the Indian Register of Shipping.
