She is currently acting as the Principal of KMP College of Engineering, Perumbavoor, Kerala. Formerly, she was a professor in the Department of Optoelectronics, University of Kerala, Thiruvanathapuram. She is the co-author of 10 textbooks in the area of Electronic engineering.
