Dr. Ruchi Singh is alumni of Advanced centre of Botany, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, (U.P.). She completed her post graduate diploma in Bioinformatics (PGDBI), M. Phil and PhD in Botany with bioinformatics specialization. Dr. Singh worked as a lecturer in Department of Bioinformatics, SRM University and also as a scientist at SIBB R&D, Kochi. Presently she is a visiting faculty member at Chowgule College, Goa and conducts bioinformatics workshops and guest lectures at various other institutes in Goa. She has published papers in international journals and authored some books for school children. She has also authored the book Bioinformatics: Basics, Applications and Algorithms
