Prof. P. Sadashiv has served as Head, Department of Physics, S.J.R. College, Bangalore and as Chairman of R.J.S. PU and First Grade College, Bangalore. He obtained M.Sc. degree in Physics in 1976 from Bangalore University. He has been teaching Physics for more than three decades. He was a member of the senate Academic Council and Finance Committee, Bangalore University. He is awardee of Aryabhatta Award - and Kempegowda Award 2001, Global Award in Dubai - 2005, Indira Priyadarshini Award, Adarsha Shikshaka Award. He is also the MC member of Vemana Institute of Technology, Bangalore.
