K Maruthamuthu is Assistant Professor for Commerce, Periyar University, Salem and Principal-in-charge of Periyar University College of Arts and Science, Pappireddippatti, since August 2011. He has more than 28 years of teaching experience at UG, PG and M Phil levels. He has produced 8 Ph.D. scholars and 55 M Phil scholars. He has to his credit several research papers and articles published in reputed journals and magazines. He is a life member of Indian Accounting Association. He also serves as editorial board member of international journals and organized seminars, conferences and workshops at different levels. He teaches Human Resource Management, Cost Accounting and Business Research Methods.
