Vacancy:  Area Sales Manager/ Business Development Manager

Job location: Noida/ Kolkata/ Hyderabad
 
Job aim: To sell books and other products to Universities/Colleges/Corporate/online products/ Vocational in India.
 
Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Establish contact at various Universities, Government departments and key decision makers.
  • Establish contact at various Vocational Partners in central & state Government department departments.
  • Take offering of curriculum based content to Universities, Corporate, Vocational Partners etc
  • Maintain healthy Client Relationship Management.
  • Maintain a portfolio of customers, selling across Company's Products.
  • Work with both the Client and Company's Internal Team to ensure timely, successful implementation and delivery of solutions.
  • Will be required to travel the entire eastern region.

Job Requirement

Essential requirements:
  • The candidate should have a Graduate/Post Graduate degree (Engineering background preferred), with 5-7 years of prior experience in selling in Publishing/Education industry is a must.
  • The candidate should be a self-starter; possess high energy levels and focused.
  • Business Process and Research Orientation.
  • Should have excellent written and verbal communication in English, Hindi & Regional language.
  • Hands-on approach to organize work and motivate team/self to adhere to project schedules and deliverability.
  • Well versed with the entire online development life cycle, ranging from requirements analysis, solution development and design to execution, implementation and project management.
  • Strong business acumen in cost & profit orientation, strategic planning & cost. management, with the purpose of achieving business targets.
  • Resourceful /builds relationships.
